Fashion will be a key subject at
NEXT Berlin, Europe’s leading conference for the digital industry. On May 8 & 9, around 2,000 creatives, marketers, entrepreneurs, investors, media experts and geeks will meet for networking, talks and workshops on the future of our digital environment. The digital evolution has rapidly transformed the fashion industry, and has a growing impact on supply-chains, marketing campaigns, fashion media, consumer behaviour, and our whole lifestyle.
At NEXT Berlin, international experts will take a closer look at these changes. Among the speakers will be Chris Seth, General Manager at Stardoll Media - the world’s leading platform for young people. Like him, Nora Abousteit (burdastyle/ Kollabora, US) and Katie Mowat (Grannies Inc., UK) will talk about mass customisation, co-creation, prosumer trends and DIY fashion.
NYC-based designer Mary Huang (Continuum Fashion) will also appear at NEXT. Her evening gowns and bikinis anticipate tomorrow’s bespoke-fit fashion, as Continuum introduces new concepts in fashion design, production and consumption by blending rapid fabrication through 3D-printing and interactive software.
Additionally, trendsetting bloggers and media experts like Ralf Hirt (Glam Media, USA), Lennard Minderhoud (Fashion United), Adriano Sack (ilikemystyle) and David Kurt Karl Roth (Dandydiary) will show where trends are born and how we learn about them first.
At NEXT Berlin, five further theme tracks will give digital insights into the topics: technology, creative, start-ups, mobile and experience. Digital opinion leaders and entrepreneurs will provide additional keynotes on the main stage. NEXT Chairman Martin Enderle (Deutsche Telekom), NEXT Chairman Matthias Schrader (SinnerSchrader), Felix Petersen (Amen), Ulla-Maaria Engeström (ThingLink), Russell Davies (R/GA London), Jeremy Tai Abbett (Truth Dare Double Dare), and many more international speakers will look into our post-digital future.
