Manish Arora is an Indian fashion designer. He is known for this ‘quirky’ use of bright inviting colours and tactile textured fabrics including fur. Manish launched his first fashion label in 1997 named “Manish Arora” and started retailing in India. He then went onto exhibiting his collection at India’s Fashion week and his success continued from there. Manish Arora uses a wide range of interesting fabrics in his collections and fur plays an important role in his designs. He uses this luxurious fabric in a creative and alternative way. Rather than producing classic fur coats, Manish incorporates fur into his garments - creating interesting silhouettes. In 2011 Manish is appointed the Creative Director of Paco Rabanne.
