Designed for students with a passion for fashion or luxury and an interest in business, the specialized format of the Fashion & Luxury MBA allows students to complete a full-time MBA in one year. Students graduate with a focus in fashion or luxury, or both, through core coursework and experiential learning projects, known as Stern Solutions, that are built into the 51-credit curriculum.
Behind every great collection is a brand capable of re-innovating and playing with its identity; and behind every brand capable of doing so is a manager as creative as he is capable. The master's degree in Brand & Product Management trains managers capable of managing the most original, memorable, and complex brands, through specific skills of project management of the fashion design processes, in the fashion & luxury sector, that complement those of product management. It is a highly multidisciplinary master's degree, which hybridizes design, management, and communication skills: only in this way is it possible to follow brands and products from the creative conception stage to production, communication, and market launch.
Students will complete 52 credits across 4 areas:
- The Business Core - Build broad knowledge in fundamental areas of business with courses like Leadership, Marketing, Accounting, and Strategy.
- The Fashion & Luxury Core - Delve deep into the fashion & luxury industry with courses like Consumer Behavior, Retail Strategy & Analytics, Luxury Marketing, Next Generation Fashion, and Retail Operations & Supply Chain Management
- Stern Solutions - Tap into the heart of the global business ecosystem and solve a range of real-world problems at the intersection of business and technology. Stern Solutions helps students build a portfolio of skillsets, relationships and experiences that serve as the foundation for successful careers.
- Electives - Explore a specific functional area or take courses in an area of interest.
