Postgraduate in Creative Illustration in Fashion (co-titled with University of Barcelona)

Illustration is an essential visual resource in areas such as magazines, advertising, products, design and fashion. It is a growing discipline that combines traditional techniques with the digital world.

The purpose of the Postgraduate in Creative Illustration in Fashion is to train specialists in the field of fashion illustration and to accompany them in the creation of their first professional portfolio. We also prepare illustrators who are capable of proposing, interpreting and developing creative projects in the different media of the fashion world, with special emphasis on prints. During the program, the students will work with professional proposals linked to important companies in the sector.

This course is supported by the great teaching experience of Felicidad Duce, the Fashion School of LCI Barcelona, and by the international level of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona, with who we have worked closely on the syllabus design. It is therefore a double certification with a structured teaching plan adapted to the needs of the current market.

- Going into the creative illustration in fashion and its multiple professional applications.

- Updating, completing and refining the knowledge of manual and computer techniques applied to fashion illustration.

- Providing the necessary tools to update the knowledge about illustration applied to fashion and printing.

- Understanding illustration as a means of self-expression, capable of providing aesthetic connotations and specific character.

- Learning how to contribute creativity and innovation according to the real needs of the company.

- Acquiring research methodologies to face professional projects and challenges.

Most of the classes will take place at LCI Barcelona's facilities, while the rest will take place at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona.
